JobThikana is a platform that helps job seekers learn skills, apply for jobs, and get hired. This policy explains what personal information we collect about you and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, please contact us (see the last section).

• Details you give us: your name, phone number, email, password, city, and the information you add to your profile — for example your education, skills, work experience, and biodata.
• Application details: the jobs you apply to and any note you send with an application.
• Documents you upload: such as your biodata or certificates, if you choose to add them.
• Basic technical information: such as the device and browser you use, so the website works properly and stays secure.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Show you jobs and let you apply to them.
• Let companies you apply to review your application and contact you.
• Send you important updates about your applications.
• Keep the platform safe and prevent fraud and scams.

When you apply to a job, we share your application and profile details with that company so they can consider you. We may also share information with trusted service providers who help us run the platform (for example, sending emails or storing files), and only for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, so you can keep applying to jobs. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except for the small amount we must keep by law (for example, basic records to prevent fraud).

You can view and update most of your details any time by signing in to your profile. To ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and personal information, email us at support@jobthikana.in from the email address on your account. We will act on your request as required by law.

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. No system is perfect, so please keep your password secret and do not share your account with anyone.

JobThikana will never ask you to pay money to get a job. Genuine companies do not charge job seekers a fee. If anyone on or off the platform asks you for money for a job, do not pay — report it to us at support@jobthikana.in.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
